relay the future

As many of you know, I found Highlight Church while scrolling through Instagram back in 2016. Humble beginnings, unexpected beginnings, the type of beginning that no one was in a position to predict, including myself. I was not expecting to connect my calling with such a simple, rather myopic moment. But I believe God was there, maneuvering and orchestrating every detail.

Today, from humble beginnings, I have been given the formal opportunity to ride the cusp of being developed in my leadership and developing others in return. The technical, and beloved term for this at Highlight is a “leadership development pipeline”. Pipeline can be defined as the system for developing, and producing something.

In the process of helping others find true life in Jesus Christ, a pipeline is flowing, intact, and active in production. Systems uphold this pipeline, and potential is spied in everyone. In fact, anyone is invited to take this journey of leading, and becoming more in Jesus Christ. Most find themselves saying yes to this process, because this move of God is personal, and profound at its core.

In essence, this flow is the future; true life and full potential intersecting at every tier. Unseen Matters was born to recount the testimonies, principles, and leadership perspective on taking the journey of becoming unseen in the context of Highlight Church. On this journey, unseen matters, matters of the heart, are addressed, for they are the most important. As leaders, we are coming into full agreement when God said to his servant Samuel, “Don't judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn't see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
